Welcome

Welcome to the Kaldus National Standards Code for Transit, and Transportation. This site will discuss the codes that all transit must follow. While some code might be inconvenient, I will try to explain the rational behind the code that might be controversial. The codes will involve vehicle standards including automobiles, and buses. Such might include which side the gas goes in. This will also include which side the charging port for electric vehicles will also go into. There will also be a distinct designation of street and road types. For example, a street can not be named Main Street if it follows the conventional definition of a road. In that case, it must be named Main Road. In addition, a city/community can not have a 2 of the same names for a street. There can be a Main Street, and a Main Road, but there can not be 2 Main Streets.

The transit code will also apply to rail, and air travel. There will be only 1 public airport in the nation. This is to reduce chances of accidents, and allows for a more streamlined system. It would be easier to hire 10 traffic controller operators in one airport than it would be to hire 5 controllers for 2 airports. All traffic controllers must be taught, and certified by the authorization authority for Kaldus. More information can be found on that.

So, one might ask how to get to another part of the nation if there are no other airports? This is where rail transit will come into place. Every capital city will have a train station. From there, the passenger can disembark, and board a bus to go to their final destination within a county. All old rail lines will eventually be replaced with high-speed rails therefore competing with air flights within the nation. However, if one does not wish to use the railways, they will be able to use county buses to travel from one county to another. This will likely take longer though – although possibly cheaper.
