Water

Assuming that the nation is not landlocked, there will be some issues to address with regards to water. There is freshwater, and sea water. fresh water will include lakes, and rivers where as sea water is the ocean or a sea. In either instance, there is some need to consider with regards to transit, and traveling.

In the case of freshwater – there will be river boats, or docks that would be considered as public transit. The same system that would handle public transit will be responsible for river transit. The advantage of river trasit as opposed to land transit is there is a much less likely chance of traffic which will always be a concern on public roadways. With that in mind, river boats might make the most sense to be used during rush hour services.

Sea water transit is likely to be handled by private companies who might acquire cruise ships. Since vacation cruises is not considered as an essential resource, the government will just regulate the system, and not operate it.
